About HIT Kolkata
Heritage Institute of Technology, run by the Kalyan Bharti Trust, was established in 2001 at Anandapur, Kolkata. It is an autonomous institute (status extended for 10 years from 2025-26) affiliated to MAKAUT, accredited by NAAC with an A grade and approved by AICTE.
It offers B.Tech in 13 branches, M.Tech in six specialisations and MCA. B.Tech admission is through WBJEE or JEE Main ranks. The campus has 91 laboratories, more than 1,100 computers and hostels for 100 boys and 300 girls.
