Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, Kolkata (“EIILM-Kolkata,” “EIILM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the EIILM Counselor App (“App”).

The App enables authorized education counselors to manage prospective-student enquiries, counselling activities, admission-related processes, follow-ups, communications and other approved institutional work.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, where it is stored, how long it is retained, when it may be shared and how users may request account or data deletion.

2. Intended Users and Account Control

The App is intended for counselors and other users authorized by EIILM-Kolkata.

Although the App may be downloaded publicly from the App Store, its protected features can be accessed only by users whose email addresses and accounts have been registered and authorized by EIILM.

The App does not provide public self-service account creation. All user accounts are created, approved, managed, suspended, deactivated and deleted by authorized EIILM administrators.

A user’s access may be disabled when:

• The user requests account deletion.
• The user is no longer associated with EIILM.
• The user is no longer authorized to use the App.
• EIILM identifies unauthorized, fraudulent or improper use.
• Account suspension or deletion is required for security, administrative or legal reasons.

Users must keep their login credentials confidential and must not permit another person to use their account.

3. Information We Collect

Depending on the features used, the App may collect the following information.

3.1 Counselor Account Information

Location information may be associated with the authorized counselor’s account when required to verify the relevant activity.

The App does not use precise location for:

• Third-party advertising.
• Advertising measurement.
• Advertising profiling.
• Tracking users across apps or websites owned by other companies.
• Sharing with data brokers.

Users can allow or deny location access through the iOS permission request. Permission can subsequently be changed through:

If location access is disabled, location-dependent features may not work correctly. Features that do not require location may continue to remain available.
